Erica Schroeder

Erica Schroeder began her prolific career as a voice actress in 2002, quickly establishing herself as a prominent talent in the entertainment industry. She took on significant early roles, including Rena Yanase in ‘Ultraman Tiga’ (2002) and various characters in the iconic ‘Pokémon’ series starting in 2003, notably voicing Nurse Joy in Seasons 7–8 and Wobbuffet in Seasons 20–25. Demonstrating her impressive versatility, Schroeder portrayed the energetic Monkey D. Luffy in the 4Kids English dub of ‘One Piece’ (2004–2007) and the enigmatic Blaze the Cat in the ‘Sonic the Hedgehog’ video game series, beginning with ‘Sonic Rush’ in 2005.

Erica Schroeder’s career continues to be marked by continuous engagement in diverse and high-profile roles. In 2019, she voiced Cheese and Cat in ‘Boy Girl Dog Cat Mouse Cheese,’ followed by the older version of Zarafa in the animated film ‘Zarafa’ (2015) and Margo in ‘Pokémon the Movie: The Power of Us’ (2018). Her recent work includes integral roles in ‘Pokémon Horizons: The Series’ (2023–2024), where she voices characters such as Lapras, Diana’s Mom, and Pawmi. Beyond her extensive voice-over work, Schroeder has also contributed her talents to the stage, performing in the original casts of critically acclaimed musicals ‘Jane Eyre’ and ‘Shout!

The Mod Musical.’ Looking ahead, Schroeder is set to reprise her role as Professor Griselda in the upcoming film ‘Winx Club: The Magic Is Back’ (2025) and will voice Nozomi Yuitsuka in the highly anticipated anime ‘Medalist’ (2025). Her voice will also be featured in the upcoming animated film ‘Ghost Cat Anzu’ (2024).
