Erin Richards

Erin Richards was born on December 12, 1983, in Penarth, Wales, UK. She pursued her acting education at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. Her career began with appearances in short films and hosting the Welsh language teen magazine show Mosgito for S4C. Early television roles included parts in the BBC programs *Crash* and *Being Human*. These initial experiences laid the groundwork for her progression into more prominent roles in both comedic and dramatic productions.

Richards gained significant recognition for her role as Molly Hughes in the FOX comedy television series *Breaking In*, where she became a regular cast member in 2012. Her work in film also expanded during this period, co-starring as Sharon in Gonzalo López-Gallego’s horror film *Open Grave* in 2013, alongside Sharlto Copley. Her career took a significant turn from 2014 to 2019, when she played Barbara Kean in the FOX television series *Gotham*, appearing in 75 episodes as a main cast member.
