Gary Lee Vincent established Burning Bulb Publishing in 2009, a venture created to support emerging authors and foster collaborative opportunities within the literary community. By 2020, Burning Bulb Publishing had overseen the publication of over 200 distinct novels, with Vincent himself authoring more than 20 books. His horror novel, ‘Darkened Hills,’ was recognized as the 2010 Book of the Year winner by Foreword Reviews Magazine, marking an early significant achievement in his prolific literary career. Vincents creative aspirations, following an earlier musical career that began in 1992 and produced three independent albums’100 Percent,’ ‘Passion, Pleasure, and Pain,’ and ‘Somewhere Down The Road’led him to expand into filmmaking.
A pivotal moment occurred in 2014 when he collaborated with John Russo, co-author of ‘Night of the Living Dead,’ on the film ‘My Uncle John is a Zombie.’ This experience immersed Vincent in filmmaking, sparking his passion for acting, producing, and directing. He made his motion picture acting debut in ‘Belly Timber’ around the same year. Building on this foundational work, Vincent launched Burning Bulb Productions in 2019. That same year, he directed his first feature film, ‘A Promise to Astrid.’ His directorial prowess continued to grow with the 2020 motion picture remake of John Russo’s ‘Midnight,’ further solidifying his position as a multifaceted filmmaker.
Since his initial foray into cinema, Vincent has participated in over 100 feature films and documentary projects, expanding his influence across various facets of media production. Having successfully transitioned from musician and author to accomplished actor, director, and entrepreneur, Vincent continues to leverage his diverse background, which also includes a degree in Business Administration Management and Psychology. His commitment to supporting creative talent and producing engaging content underscores his ongoing impact within the entertainment industry.
