George C. Romero

George C. Romero is a successful film and television producer, director, and best-selling comic book writer. He is a co-founder of Romero Pictures with Rebecca Romero. With a career spanning several decades, he has been involved in the production of almost two dozen films and numerous commercial campaigns. Romero has written, produced, directed, and arranged financing for over 35 film, television, and streaming projects. His extensive experience also includes consulting and mentoring emerging filmmakers and content creators, assisting them in navigating the complexities of the entertainment sector.

Romero obtained a B.A. in English Literature and pursued film production studies at the Valencia school of film in Orlando, FL. His foundational understanding of the film industry was built through hands-on experience across various departments on both independent and large-scale productions. Notable early projects include his father’s film “The Dark Half,” as well as “The Burbs” and “Roadhouse.”
