Gwendolyn Osborne was born on August 7, 1977, in Bath, Somerset, England. She gained widespread recognition for her extensive career as a model on the daytime game show, “The Price Is Right.” From 2005 to 2017, Osborne was a prominent face on the show, earning recognition as one of the longest-running women of color in that role. Her work on “The Price Is Right” spanned 421 episodes, where she appeared in various capacities including a model, Glinda the Good Witch of the South, and a CBS Page. In 2017, she departed from the show to pursue other professional interests, marking a significant turning point in her career towards acting and producing roles.
Following her modeling career, Osborne expanded her presence in the entertainment industry as an actress and producer. She appeared as a Competitor (credited as Gwendolyn Smith) in the 2020 film “Wonder Woman 1984” and took on the role of Juliette in the TV series “Grown-ish” in 2023. Her acting credits also include roles in films such as “Jack and Jill” (2011) alongside Adam Sandler, and “Any Given Sunday.” On television, she has appeared in daytime soap operas like “General Hospital,” “The Bold and the Beautiful” (as Evelyn in 2016 for 2 episodes), and “The Young and the Restless” (also as Evelyn in 2016 for 3 episodes).
