Gwendolyn Osborne-Smith is an actress, producer, model and singer. She was born in 1978 in Bath, her mother was Jamaican and her father was British. Theatre was a part of her childhood her older sister went to the Italia Conti Academy. Osborne-Smith loved singing and sang in the church choir, finding her passion for music.
Osborne-Smith started in the entertainment industry as a model, when she began to raise her profile and make her name. Working as a model she appeared for 12 years on ‘The Price is Right’. She has worked as an actress in a range of productions, for example, she was Jade Dominquez in ‘Miami’ and she was in Adam Sandler’s ‘Jack and Jill’, ‘Snow Dogs’ (2002) and ‘Any Given Sunday’ (1999).
She was in TV series’ such as ‘Ocean Ave’, ‘Beauty and the Baller’, ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ and ‘Charmed’. She worked on ‘Wonder Woman’ in 1984, her character was very athletic and she had to train intensively. She also appeared in ‘General Hospital’ with the role of Police Chief Vic.
Osborne-Smith both starred in and worked as a producer on reality series called ‘Meet the Smiths’ on TBS. It showcased her family and it premiered in 2015.
She has worked with ITV America as a producer and she has continued to be involved with music working on a studio album. She has worked on podcasts and has also started a beauty business. Osborne-Smith was married to Kenny Smith a retired NBA player from 2006-20018. They have two children together (Malloy and London) and she has a daughter (Monique) from an earlier relationship. She lives in Los Angeles.
