After joining ‘Good Morning America Weekend’ on November 12, 2011, Ginger Zee swiftly established herself as a leading meteorological voice, building upon a robust scientific background and a decade of experience across various media markets. Prior to her national debut, Zee honed her skills at stations including WEYI-TV, WYIN-TV, WLAV-FM, WOOD-TV, WBMA-LD, and WMAQ from 2006 to 2011. During her tenure at WMAQ in Chicago, she earned her first national exposure as a guest meteorologist on ‘The Today Show,’ demonstrating her strong on-air presence.
