Hana Mae Lee
Hana Mae Lee is an American actress, model, comedian, and fashion designer best known for her portrayal of Lilly in the sensationally popular 2012 movie Pitch Perfect, and it’s sequels.
Lee’s path to stardom began as a model aged 16. She has continually modelled throughout her career, appearing in advertisements for companies such as Honda, Jeep, Apple, and American Express while being featured in magazines such as Time and Elle. In addition to her modelling, Lee has designed for Harley-Davidson, Juicy Couture, and Mossimo – in 2009 she launched her own fashion line, Hanamahn.
Lee’s acting career began in 2006, featuring the comedy film The Dog Problem. She made her TV debut in 2011 with guest appearances in Workaholics and Mike & Molly. The next year, she gained her breakout role as the quirky and odd Lilly Onakuramara in the award-winning film Pitch Perfect.
Since Pitch Perfect, Lee has appeared in shows like Californication, Resident Advisors, and Patriot, accepting roles in films like Jem and the Holograms and The Babysitter while reprising her role as Onakuramara in the Pitch Perfect sequels. A creative force to be reckoned with, Lee has continued to model and design while her acting career rises to new heights. She is currently slated to appear as the female lead in puppet-themed horror film Abruptio alongside Jordan Peele.
