Humayun Saeed

Humayun Saeed embarked on his prolific career in Pakistani television in 1995 as an artist, making his first notable on-screen appearance in the drama serial ‘Yeh Jahan.’ Demonstrating his multifaceted talent, he swiftly ventured into production, establishing H.S. Production. Under this banner, Saeed executive produced a string of successful serials, including ‘Tum he to ho,’ ‘Pehli Khahish,’ ‘Adhuray Khawab,’ ‘Dil wo bay mehar,’ and ‘Undekhi,’ consistently delivering compelling content from 1995 onwards. His transition to the big screen in 1999, with Samina Peerzada’s film ‘Inteha,’ proved critically impactful, earning him a prestigious National Award for Best Actor in 2000 for his powerful portrayal of a negative role.

The year 2022 marked a significant milestone in his career as his international recognition soared after being cast as Dr. Hasnat Khan in the critically acclaimed fifth season of the Netflix series ‘The Crown.’ This high-profile role exposed his acting prowess to a global audience, cementing his status as a performer of international caliber. Throughout his illustrious career, Humayun Saeed has been the recipient of numerous industry accolades, including multiple Lux Style Awards and ARY Film Awards, honoring both his acting and producing achievements. His instrumental contributions to the revitalization of Pakistani cinema were formally recognized with a Special Recognition Award at the 4th Hum Awards in 2016.

In testament to his sustained and profound impact on the entertainment landscape of Pakistan, Saeed was further bestowed with the esteemed Pride of Performance by the President of Pakistan on March 23, 2021.
