She also participated in Shoot Boxing events in Japan, facing Rena Kubota in November 2014 and Misaki Morita in July 2018. These experiences provided a comprehensive technical base that she later applied to MMA.
Verbeek officially entered the professional MMA circuit in March 2021 with iKon Fighting Federation 5, where she secured a unanimous decision victory over Valerie Wong.
