The stunning Jade Albany Pietrantonio, who goes by the stage name Jade Albany, is an actress, model and former reality TV personality. She featured on the tenth series of Big Brother Australia in 2013 and finished as runner-up. She is best known for gracing the cover of magazines such as Maxim, and for starring in the hit TV shows 68 Whiskey, and Disney+’s The Right Stuff.
Born in France to an Italian father and Australian mother, Pietrantonio was raised in both Italy and Australia after her parents split, and brought up bilingual. When she was living with her father in Italy during her late teens she started modelling, and was a contestant on series three of Italia’s Next Top Model. She left the show in the third episode unsure that she wanted to pursue modelling as a career, and decided to move back to Australia to follow her real passion: acting.
After coming in as runner-up on Big Brother Australia in 2013, Pietrantonio started to secure acting roles. She made her debut in an episode of the comedy series Camp, and then after appearing in a couple of other Australian productions, relocated to Los Angeles. In 2017 she secured a part in the documentary mini series American Playboy: The Hugh Hefner Story, but it was when she was cast as Cassola in the war drama 68 Whiskey in 2020 that her star began to rise. She then secured the part of Rene Carpenter in the Disney + series of Tom Wolfe’s The Right Stuff.
Pietrantonio regularly connects with her legions of followers and admirers through Twitter, and Instagram, posting pictures and videos of her life both off and on the screen. She is also available for that personalised shout-out via the Cameo platform.
