Jade Jagger is an acclaimed jewellery designer, artist, and interior designer. After establishing Jade Inc. in the late 1980s, Jade Jagger quickly gained global recognition for her unique jewellery pieces. Her designs were sold in prominent retail establishments including Maxfields, Bergdorf Goodman, Barneys, Colette, Browns, and The Cross.
This initial venture laid the groundwork for her extensive career, evolving into an integrated jewellery and fashion brand by 1996. Jagger’s career progressed significantly in 2001 when she was appointed Creative Director for Garrard, the historic English luxury jewellery company. During her seven-year tenure until 2006, she was instrumental in modernizing the brand, notably introducing collections like the successful ‘Wing design,’ which remains a strong seller. She also oversaw the interior design for Garrard’s flagship stores in major cities including London, New York, Tokyo, and Los Angeles.
In 2004, Jagger expanded her design work into real estate, collaborating with design partner Tom Bartlett and YOO (John Hitchcox, Philippe Starck) to design luxury apartments under the ‘Jade Jagger for yoo’ umbrella in locations such as New York, Mumbai, and the UK. Her influence extended to other creative fields, leading her to launch ‘Jezebel’ in 2007, a lifestyle concept integrating music, clothing, and lifestyle elements. This venture notably introduced artists like Mark Ronson and Lily Allen to the international club scene. In 2009, Jagger launched her individual jewellery brand, Jade Jagger Inc., which expanded to include fashion couture and luxury items sold online and in her London and Goa stores.
Continuing her impactful work in real estate design, Jagger designed the Lodha Group’s Fiorenza project in Mumbai in 2011. Her sustained impact in the design industry is reflected by her fine jewellery, which is currently distributed in 18 countries worldwide, solidifying her position as an acclaimed jewellery and interior designer and artist.
