Jain Kim, a Korean sport climbing prodigy, has become a leading international figure known for her exceptional skill in lead climbing and bouldering. After establishing her formidable competition career in 2002, Jain Kim, a Korean sport climbing prodigy, debuted in the Lead Climbing World Cup in July 2004, quickly following with her Bouldering World Cup debut by 2006. She rapidly distinguished herself, securing an impressive 10 Lead Climbing Asian Championship titles, including wins in 2004, 2005, 2006, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2012, 2014, 2015, and 2018. Kim further demonstrated her versatility with three Bouldering Asian Championship titles in 2008, 2012, and 2015, accumulating a total of 13 Asian Championship victories.

Kim’s profound influence on the sport is widely recognized, notably for inspiring the growth of sport climbing in Korea, having been personally mentored by the pioneering Korean climber Go Mi-young.
