Jason Earles

Multi-talented actor, martial artist and comedian Jason Earles is most famous for playing Jackson Stewart in Hannah Montana and Rudy Gillespie in Kickin’ It. Earles played Stewart – the older brother of main character Miley Stewart – alongside Miley Cyrus in the Disney Channel comedy Hannah Montana from 2006 until 2011. He has also featured in several movies including National Treasure with Nicolas Cage and American Pie Presents: Band Camp.

Born in San Diego, California, Earles made his television debut in sketch show MADtv in 2003 before landing the role of Brian Miller’s nerdy friend in Still Standing in 2004. His first film role came in National Treasure playing Thomas Gates, an ancestor of Nicolas Cage’s character Ben Gates. Other roles soon followed including Ernie Kaplowitz in the 2005 movie American Pie Presents: Band Camp.

His most notable role came in 2006 when he landed the part of Jackson Stewart in Hannah Montana, playing a 16 year old when he was in fact 29 years old. Earles starred in the show from 2006 to 2011 before starring as Rudy Gillespie in the Disney XD show Kickin’ It. His other numerous television appearances include advanced maths student Grady Spaggett in Disney’s Phil of the Future and co-hosting Sing-Along Bowl-athon, a New Year’s Eve special for Disney Channel. Earles is also an accomplished voice actor with roles including Spudnik in 2009’s Space Buddies and Curt Spookman in the computer animated show Vampirina. Since 2018 Earles has played Flynt Rogers in the sitcom Hotel Du Loone on the Brat digital media network.
