Lauren Ash

Lauren Ash is an accomplished actress, comedian, and musician, widely recognized for her television roles and comedic talent. After honing her comedic skills at The Second City in Toronto and Chicago, Lauren Ash quickly garnered significant recognition within the Canadian comedy scene, earning two Canadian Comedy Awards for Best Female Improviser in 2006 and 2007. As one half of the sketch comedy duo ‘Cory!’, she further cemented her credentials with a Canadian Comedy Award for Best Sketch Troupe in 2006 and another for Best Comedic Play in 2008. These foundational achievements established her as a prominent comedic talent.

More recently, Ash has expanded into the music industry, releasing singles and an EP in 2023, with a full-length album slated for September 2025. The album has already earned a Hollywood Independent Music Awards nomination for Best Rock/Pop Song for ‘Whiplash’ (2025). She also co-hosts the popular podcast, ‘True Crime and Cocktails,’ with Christy Oxborrow, which launched in 2020. Her recent television engagements include a series regular role as Lexi Rhodes in Not Dead Yet (2023-2024), voice work as Beverly/Additional Voices/Beryl in Kiff (2023–2025), and as Sandpaper/Petitioner/Nutso the Rapping Squirrel in Rock, Paper, Scissors (2024).
