Jason Faunt

Jason Patrick Faunt was born on November 20, 1974, in Chicago, Illinois. He spent his formative years in McHenry, Illinois. A gifted athlete during his youth, Faunt initially pursued a career in professional baseball, attending the University of North Carolina at Asheville on a partial baseball scholarship, where he earned a business degree. After graduating, his career trajectory shifted, and he moved to Los Angeles to pursue acting.

Faunt’s professional acting career began in 1999 with appearances in the horror films ‘Witchouse’ and ‘Totem.’ A significant turning point in his career arrived in 2001 when he was cast as Wesley “Wes” Collins, the Red Time Force Ranger, and his descendant Alex, in the television series ‘Power Rangers Time Force.’ This role brought him widespread recognition and established his presence in the entertainment industry. He reprised his role as Wes Collins in subsequent ‘Power Rangers’ series, including ‘Power Rangers Wild Force’ (2002), ‘Power Rangers Super Megaforce’ (2014), and ‘Power Rangers Super Ninja Steel’ (2018).

Beyond his work in “Power Rangers,” Faunt has accumulated a diverse filmography. In 2017, he participated in the film ‘The Order’ alongside other actors from the ‘Power Rangers’ franchise. He also worked as the motion capture actor for Leon S. Kennedy and provided the voice for Aaron in the 2017 animated film ‘Resident Evil: Vendetta.’ His career consistently involves both live-action and voice roles across various genres.
