Javon Kendrick

Breakout star of popular docuseries Cheer, athlete Javon Kendrick is known for his cheerleading skill and larger than life personality.

Kendrick has trained as a cheerleader ever since he was a child, and has achieved considerable success at both national and international competitions. In 2018 he won the World Championships, and currently competes as part of the Cheetahs, Wildcats, and prestigious cheer team Navarro Cheer. In 2020 he appeared in the hugely popular docuseries Cheer on Netflix which followed the highs and lows of the Navarro squad, with Kendrick becoming a fan favourite and a star of the show. He won audiences over with his sporting skill and endearing personality, and is set to appear in the second season of the show coming soon. That’s not his only on screen appearance though, with his other team the Wildcats making it through to the quarter finals of America’s Got Talent and showcasing their talents to the world. They were tipped as favourites to win the 15th season of the popular talent show, with their gravity defying stunts and slick performances impressing both the judges and the audience at home.

This talented young athlete has already gained a huge fan following around the world, with nearly 20k followers on his Instagram and nearly 80k on his TikTok page. He looks set for more great things in the coming years, and continues to serve as an example for aspiring cheerleaders everywhere.
