One of the best all rounders in the world, Jason Holder is a cricket player from Barbados. He has capatained the West Indies cricket team. During the 2019 Cricket World Cup, Holder played in his 100th ODI match for the West Indies. In January 2019, the official ICC Test rankings put him as the best all-around player in the world. He was named Test Player of the Year by Cricket West Indies in August 2019. Holder was the first man to get a hat-trick for the West Indies in T20i.
In February 2013, Holder played his first ODI against Australia. In the first ODI he played against Pakistan in July 2013, he took an excellent 4 for 13, however Pakistan’s Shahid Afridi took 7 wickets and the West Indies were bowled out for 98. This was his first notable performance in an ODI. In January 2014, Holder played his first T20I against New Zealand. In three overs, he got 2 for 34.
In September 2021, Holder was named one of four reserve players for the 2021 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup cricket team for the West Indies. In January 2022, he was chosen to play for the West Indies in a T20I home series against England. In the fifth and final game, which decided the series, Holder took five wickets for 27 runs, which was his first five-wicket haul in T20Is. He was the fourth bowler in T20Is to get four wickets in just four balls. Holder won Player of the Match and Player of the Series awards for his remarkable performance.
