Jennifer Lilley was born on August 4, 1984, in Roanoke, Virginia. She is the second oldest of four children. Lilley graduated from Cave Spring High School and later attended the University of Virginia, graduating early with magna cum laude honors. Her career began to gain prominence in 2011 with a supporting role in the Academy Award-winning silent film “The Artist.” That same year, she took on a temporary recast role as Maxie Jones on ABC’s “General Hospital,” appearing from September 2011 to August 2012.
In 2013, Lilley joined the cast of NBC’s “Days of Our Lives” as Theresa Donovan, a role she held from July 2013 to November 2016, and again from May to July 2018. During her time on the show, “Days of Our Lives” received the Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Drama Series. Post-“Days of Our Lives,” Lilley became a frequent presence on the Hallmark Channel, starring in numerous TV movies, including “A Dash of Love” (2016), “Yes, I Do” (2018), and “Mingle All the Way” (2018).
Lilley later transitioned to GAC Media, signing a multi-picture overall deal in 2022 to star in films for GAC Family and Great American Family channel. Beyond her acting career, she is recognized for her philanthropic efforts, donating 100% of her music profits to the Tulsa Girls Home to support teen girls in foster care.
