Jenny Dinoia

Jennifer DiNoia is an American singer and stage actress, recognized for her extensive work in musical theatre, particularly for playing Elphaba in ‘Wicked’ across various international productions. After making her professional stage debut as an ensemble member and Ali Understudy in the U.S. national tour of ‘Mamma Mia!’, Jenny DiNoia established herself as a formidable talent in musical theatre. In summer 2004, she joined the original American cast of the Las Vegas production of ‘We Will Rock You’ as an ensemble member, also understudying the lead role of Scaramouche.

Beyond ‘Wicked,’ she was featured on the soundtrack for ‘Broadway Sings Blood Rock: The Musical’ in August 2020. Her invaluable expertise with the character was again called upon post-COVID reopening, when DiNoia temporarily took over the full-time Elphaba role on Broadway from October to December 2021. Most recently, she provided emergency cover for Elphaba at The Kennedy Center from December 8-10, 2022, illustrating her consistent demand and reliability as a top-tier performer. DiNoia’s extensive career as Elphaba across numerous productions and international stages firmly establishes her as one of the most recognized and sought-after talents within the world of ‘Wicked’ and beyond.
