In Britain, Jenny Ryan is best known for working with some highly popular quiz shows like The Chase, QI and The Weakest Link. She is also general knowledge maven, boasting a wealth of knowledge on just about any topic thrown at her.
By 2015, Jenny was offered to join the Chasers team. This quiz show from ITV is perhaps one of the UK’s most recognised, having won many awards for its popularity and success. On the programme, Jenny is pitched against contestants who attempt to win dream prizes, like a holiday to the Bahamas, or even a new kitchen. Intimidating millions of contestants on a daily basis, host Bradley Walsh has lovingly bestowed her with the nickname, The Vixen and The Bolton Brainiac.
Towards the start of Jenny Ryan’s history with British TV, she appeared on the likes of Mastermind, Only Connect and University Challenge – where she reached the semi-finals in 2002. Before Jenny broke out into the limelight, she also worked as a researcher and brainiac for QI and The Weakest Link.
As if being a masterful quizzer was not enough to keep Jenny busy, she is also a very skilled musician. She can sing and play the ukulele. Every now and then, she is seen on stage, gigging with her band, the Nanukes of The North. Recently, she appeared on The Nightly Show, where she displayed her singing and performing talent, with a rendition of How Am I Supposed To Live Without You.
