Jiang Ranxin was born on May 2, 2000, in Fengxian District, Shanghai, China. She developed an interest in shooting sports early in her life. In 2017, she was selected for the Chinese national shooting team, marking the beginning of her professional career. Her early career demonstrated her potential, leading to significant achievements in national and international competitions.
Her career progressed rapidly, achieving global recognition. In 2020, she transitioned from active military service in the Bayi Shooting Team due to military organizational reform; however, this did not hinder her athletic pursuits. Jiang Ranxin continued to compete at a high level, securing her place on the Olympic team for China. In 2021, at the Tokyo Olympics, she earned both a gold medal in the 10m Air Pistol Mixed Team event and a bronze medal in the Women’s 10m Air Pistol event, setting an Olympic record in the qualifying round for the latter. These achievements established her as a prominent figure in international shooting sports.
Throughout her career, Jiang Ranxin has consistently secured medals at various World Championships, World Cups, and Asian Championships. She holds a Qualification World Record in 10m Air Pistol Women with a score of 591, achieved on October 15, 2022. Her consistent performance and numerous victories underscore her dedication and skill in pistol shooting disciplines.
