Jim Parrack

Jim Parrack first gained widespread recognition for his role as Hoyt Fortenberry in the critically acclaimed HBO series True Blood, where he was a main cast member for the initial five seasons beginning in 2008. Prior to this, Parrack made his screen debut in the 2006 drama film Annapolis and built a strong foundation in television with guest appearances on notable series including Monk, Grey’s Anatomy, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, and Criminal Minds. Following his initial run on True Blood, Jim Parrack expanded his significant filmography. He returned to the series for its seventh and final season, while concurrently appearing in a range of feature films such as Battle: Los Angeles (2011), Child of God (2013), and A Night in Old Mexico (2013).

In 2014, Parrack made his Broadway debut, performing the role of Slim in the acclaimed production of John Steinbeck’s Of Mice and Men. Parrack continued to build his cinematic presence with roles in prominent films including David Ayer’s WWII drama Fury (2014), The Adderall Diaries (2015), and the DC Extended Universe blockbuster Suicide Squad (2016), where he played Frost. More recently, he took on a starring role as Judson ‘Judd’ Ryder in the popular Fox drama series 9-1-1: Lone Star, which began its successful run in 2020 and is slated to continue through 2025. Beyond his extensive acting career, Jim Parrack has also taken on significant roles in production and direction.

He served as an executive producer for the 2023 film Grace Point and as a producer for Daisy’s (2013) and Post (2011), the latter of which he also directed. Parrack demonstrates his multifaceted involvement in the entertainment industry as President of 120 Productions, Inc., actively contributing to various aspects of content creation.
