Jim Pirri, an accomplished actor and fight choreographer, first garnered attention for his theatrical work, including performing as Guildenstern alongside Val Kilmer in the 1988 Colorado Shakespeare Festival’s production of Hamlet. During this period, Pirri also demonstrated his skills as a Fight Captain. His career in film began shortly thereafter with an appearance in the 1989 film ‘The Wizard’ as a Studio Tour Guide, followed by a starring role as Brian in the 1994 film ‘Ring of Steel.’ Pirri transitioned into television in the mid-1990s, securing guest spots on popular series such as three episodes of ‘Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman’ in 1995, and two episodes of ‘3rd Rock from the Sun’ in 1997. He also appeared as Sergei in a 1997 episode of ‘Friends.’ Building on his television presence, Pirri took on recurring roles, notably portraying Jack Pappas in the series ‘Union Square’ from 1997 to 1998.
Beyond gaming, Pirri simultaneously established a strong presence in animated television, voicing the character of Alador Blight in ‘The Owl House’ from 2020 to 2022, showcasing his range and consistent demand in animation. Most recently, Jim Pirri has continued his prolific voice acting career with several high-profile projects. In 2023, he took on the iconic role of Kraven the Hunter in the highly anticipated video game ‘Spider-Man 2,’ once again providing both voice and motion capture.
