John Heffron

John Heffron, an award-winning stand-up comedian, became a successful headlining act by age 25, establishing his distinctive voice on the national comedy scene. He launched his career by securing his first emcee role at the Main Street Comedy Showcase before rapidly building a presence on the college circuit, performing over 80 shows annually. His early material resonated with audiences, leading to the release of his debut comedy CD, ‘Kid With A Cape.’ Expanding his career into broadcasting, Heffron served as radio sidekick to Danny Bonaduce on Detroit’s Q95-5 morning show for five years. Demonstrating an entrepreneurial spirit, Heffron also co-created ‘The That Guy!

Game’ with partner Joel Zimmer, a card game that garnered significant attention and was featured in Entrepreneur magazine’s ‘Hot 100’ issue in 2001, for which he subsequently developed a television pilot. Heffron’s career ascended significantly when he won the second season of NBC’s hit reality series ‘Last Comic Standing’ in 2004, earning him a talent contract with the network. Following this major win, he made multiple television appearances, including on NBC’s ‘The Tonight Show with Jay Leno’ and CBS’s ‘The Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn.’ Heffron’s acclaimed stage presence also led to performances at prestigious events such as the Just For Laughs Comedy Festivals in Montreal and Bermuda, and the HBO Comedy Festival in Aspen. Further showcasing his comedic prowess, he starred in two half-hour ‘Comedy Central Presents’ specials.
