John Partridge

John Partridge, an accomplished actor, dancer, and singer, gained significant recognition for his role as Christian Clarke in the BBC One soap opera ‘EastEnders’, which he joined in 2008. His early career saw him appear in the television adaptation of Stan Barstow’s novel ‘A Kind of Loving’ in 1982. A trained ballet dancer, Partridge further honed his skills in musical theatre at the Bush Davies School of Theatre Arts and Doreen Bird College of Performing Arts. At just 16, he embarked on the original UK tour of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s seminal musical ‘Cats’, where he later served as Dance Captain from 1989 to 1990.

In 2010, he leveraged his theatrical acumen as a judge on Andrew Lloyd Webber’s television show ‘Over The Rainbow’, which aimed to discover a young talent for ‘The Wizard of Oz’. That same year, he was honored with the Entertainer of the Year award at the prestigious Stonewall Awards. Demonstrating his versatility, Partridge starred as Zach in the West End revival of ‘A Chorus Line’ in 2013 and released his debut album, ‘Dames, Dudes + Cowboys Too’, in 2014. In 2016, Partridge garnered public attention as a participant in ‘Celebrity Big Brother’.

His culinary talents were celebrated in 2018 when he emerged as the winner of ‘Celebrity MasterChef’, showcasing a different facet of his abilities. More recently, in 2023, he took on the historical role of Julius Caesar in the documentary drama ‘Queen Cleopatra’. Looking ahead to 2024 and 2025, Partridge is set to embark on his solo UK tour, ‘Dancing Man’, promising audiences an intimate journey through his extensive performing career.
