Jon Bernthal

Jon Bernthal is an American actor known for his intense and brooding performances. Born on September 20, 1976, in Washington D.C., Bernthal’s interest in acting started at a young age, and he went on to pursue it as a career after graduating from Skidmore College in 1998 with a degree in theater.

After appearing in a number of stage productions, Bernthal made his television debut in 2002 with a one-episode appearance on the CBS drama “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.” He subsequently appeared in several popular shows such as “Boston Legal,” “CSI: Miami,” and “How I Met Your Mother,” before landing his breakout role as Shane Walsh on the AMC hit series “The Walking Dead.”
