Jonah Hauer-King began his distinguished career with his professional stage debut in Simon Stephens’ ‘Punk Rock’ at the Lyric Belfast. He concurrently pursued academic excellence, graduating with a First Class degree in Theology and Religious Studies from Cambridge University in 2017, while balancing stage and screen roles. His early screen work included a lead role in Danny Huston’s ‘The Last Photograph,’ which premiered at the Edinburgh International Film Festival in 2017. He also appeared in ‘Ashes In The Snow’ and Film 4s ‘Old Boys’ with Alex Lawther.
Further expanding his portfolio, he filmed Francois Girard’s ‘Song of Names’ (2019) with Tim Roth and Clive Owen, and starred in the major BBC World War II drama ‘World on Fire’ (20192023). Hauer-King gained wider international recognition for his role as Prince Eric in Disneys highly anticipated live-action adaptation of ‘The Little Mermaid,’ released in 2023. Prior to this, he portrayed Max Mallowan in ‘Agatha and the Curse of Ishtar’ (2019). Most recently, Hauer-King took on the powerful lead role of Lali Sokolov in Sky’s critically acclaimed drama, ‘The Tattooist of Auschwitz,’ which premiered in 2024.
Demonstrating his consistent demand across diverse genres, Hauer-King is set to star as Milo Griffin in Sony Pictures’ upcoming ‘I Know What You Did Last Summer,’ slated for release in 2025. He will also appear as Conrad Clark in ‘Doctor Who’ in 2025. His steady progression and commitment to a wide array of projects have firmly established him as a prominent figure in both British and international productions.
