Juno Birch

Juno Birch, born on December 25, 1993, in Manchester, England, is a drag queen, comedian, sculptor, and YouTuber. She spent her early life growing up in Frodsham and Runcorn. Birch is a trans woman who came out around ages 13 or 14 and began hormone replacement therapy at 16. In 2015, she underwent gender confirmation surgery to address gender dysphoria. Her career in drag officially began in late 2018, quickly gaining media attention for her distinctive look and persona.

Birch’s drag aesthetic is recognized by pastel “alien skin,” typically blue or pink, yellow hair, dishwashing gloves, and retro sunglasses. She describes her drag persona as a blend of a “Martian spy woman, meets The Muppets, meets 1960s housewife, meets Squidward, meets The Fifth Element.” In addition to her drag performances, Birch is an artist who creates and sells ceramic sculptures. These sculptures often feature exaggerated versions of her drag character, blurring masculine and feminine attributes with details like Adam’s apples, overdrawn lips, and square jawlines. Her work has been described by *Dazed* as “retro-futuristic sculptures in an array of pastel colours.”

Her YouTube channel, which she started in 2019, features content such as playing *The Sims*, makeup tutorials, and collaborations with other artists. She has amassed over 504 thousand subscribers and 44.4 million views on YouTube as of March 2025, and over 614,000 followers on Instagram. Her work has led to collaborations with notable figures like Alexis Stone and Trixie Mattel. Birch embarked on her first international tour, “Attack of the Stunning,” in 2022, featuring fellow drag queen Liquorice Black, and later announced “The Probed Tour” for 2025. She has also made appearances at RuPaul’s DragCon UK in 2023, 2024, and 2025. In late 2024, she became engaged to musician Phil Lopes.
