Kahena Kunze

Kahena Kunze is a decorated Olympic sailor, renowned for her multiple gold medals and consistent performance in the 49er FX class, making her a prominent figure in international sailing. After securing a silver medal at the 2013 49er & 49er FX World Championships in Marseille, Kahena Kunze and her partner Martine Grael achieved a significant milestone, winning the gold medal at the 2014 ISAF Sailing World Championships in Santander, firmly establishing them as leading competitors in the 49er FX class. Prior to this, Kunze demonstrated early potential in the 470 class, achieving a 7th-place finish at the 2010 470 World Championships in The Hague. Her progress continued with an 8th-place finish at the 2011 ISAF Sailing World Championships in Perth, followed by another 8th-place at the 2012 470 World Championships in Barcelona.
