Kandy Muse

Kevin Gabriel Candelario, known professionally as Kandy Muse, was born on November 3, 1994, in The Bronx, New York City. She grew up in the South Bronx and the Dominican Republic, having been raised in the Mormon faith. Kandy Muse embarked on her drag career as a member of the House of Aja, a queer collective, before establishing herself as an individual artist and later forming the House of Muse. Her drag persona is celebrated for its distinctive style and engaging stage presence, garnering her a significant following within the drag community.

Kandy Muse gained widespread recognition for her participation in the thirteenth season of “RuPaul’s Drag Race” in 2021, where she showcased her talents and humor, ultimately securing the runner-up position. During her time on the show, she notable impersonated Patrick Starrr in the Snatch Game challenge and played a “slutty version” of LinkedIn in the “Social Media: The Unverified Rusical.” She continued her competitive journey in 2023, appearing on the eighth season of “RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars,” where she again achieved the runner-up title. Following this, she hosted her own World of Wonder original series, “Inside the Producer’s Studio with Kandy Muse,” further solidifying her presence in the entertainment industry.

Beyond her television appearances, Kandy Muse has expanded her career into music, collaborating on several tracks and music videos, and acting, with roles in television series such as “iCarly” and upcoming projects like “Riot Queens” and “Slaycation.” She remains an active figure in the drag scene, maintaining a visible presence and connecting with audiences through various platforms. Kandy Muse is also the drag mother to Xunami Muse, who competed on the sixteenth season of “Drag Race” in 2024, demonstrating her continued influence and mentorship within the drag community.
