Karishma Patel

Karishma Patel most famously competed in CBS’ hit TV show Survivor’s 39th Season in 2019. Quickly becoming a fan favourite, her charismatic personality and clever gameplay bought her many fans. Born in Philadelphia and now based in Houston, Patel became the first Indian-American on the show. Working as a personal injury lawyer, it was evident that Patel had brought her natural intelligence to the show. With a growing pool of fans, she came to be referred to as ‘Queen Karishma’ on social media.

Her competitive nature and mental stamina throughout the show’s often brutal events saw her break several records. She received the most votes in a single season by anybody in the show’s history and was the first woman to successfully play a hidden immunity since 2015. In the show, Patel successfully reached the competition’s second last episode, once again showcasing her talents in strategy and gameplay.
