Karoline Offigstad Knotten, an integral part of the Norwegian national team, made her Biathlon World Cup debut in 2018 after beginning her professional career in 2014. Following steady development on the IBU Cup circuit, Knotten transitioned to the World Cup team in 2019, quickly establishing herself as a consistent performer. Her early individual World Cup success included a third-place finish in the Kontiolahti Sprint during the 2020-21 season and another third place in the Otepää Sprint in 2021-22, signaling her emergence on the international stage. Knotten has since become a cornerstone of the Norwegian women’s relay team, contributing significantly to numerous victories and podium finishes.
Demonstrating continued elite performance, she secured another individual World Cup podium with a third-place finish in the Hochfilzen Sprint during the 2024-25 season. Knotten’s career trajectory continues to be defined by continuous improvement and unwavering dedication to the sport. Currently training outside the Norwegian A team during the summer, she remains focused on regaining her spot on the World Cup team. Her ambitious goals include securing a coveted place at the upcoming Milan/Cortina Winter Olympics, building on her consistent track record of top results and invaluable contributions to the Norwegian biathlon program.
