Keith Olbermann

Keith Olbermann is a prominent American sports and political commentator, renowned for his extensive career spanning over three decades across major television networks and digital platforms. After authoring his first book, The Major League Coaches, in 1973, Keith Olbermann launched his broadcasting career as a play-by-play announcer for WHTR before graduating from Cornell University with a Bachelor of Science degree in communications arts in 1979. His professional journey began with UPI and RKO Radio, followed by a stint at New York’s WNEW, before joining CNN in 1981. Olbermann further established his sports broadcasting acumen, serving as a sports anchor for Boston’s WCVB-TV in 1984.

In 2018, Olbermann returned to ESPN SportsCenter, and most recently, launched the ‘Countdown with Keith Olbermann’ podcast on iHeartRadio in 2022.
