Ken San Jose

Kenneth Paul San Jose was born on April 10, 2002, in Los Angeles, California. He began his professional dance training in 2014, focusing on hip-hop. He attended various studios, including Movement Lifestyle and Millennium Dance Complex, where he trained with multiple dance instructors to broaden his skill set. His early career included appearances in several television advertisements and videos such as Kidz Bop 27 & 29, TruTv’s Fake Off, 2015 ABC Mouse, 2015 Radio Disney Music Awards, and MTV Mexico. These experiences established his presence in the entertainment industry from a young age.

In 2018, Ken San Jose participated in “World of Dance Philippines,” competing in the Juniors Division. He advanced through the competition, ultimately securing 3rd place in the final round. This national television appearance significantly increased his visibility as a dancer. Following his success in the competition, he transitioned into music, releasing his debut single “Lose Control” in April 2019. This was followed by “A Chance To Hold” in 2020 and a Taglish single titled “Halma” later the same year, demonstrating his versatility as an artist.

Throughout his career, Ken San Jose has maintained affiliations with prominent dance crews, including lilBEASTS and HB Kids. He is also a great-grandson of Carmen D. Locsin, founder of the Locsin Dance Workshop, one of the oldest dance institutions in the Philippines, reflecting a family legacy in dance. He has collaborated with notable artists such as AC Bonifacio and Mark Tuan, expanding his reach and influence across various platforms and artistic endeavors.
