Kevin Allen

Kevin Allen has established a career spanning over four decades in the entertainment industry as a Creative Director and Choreographer. Throughout his career, he has continuously conceived, choreographed, styled, and directed numerous acclaimed productions across various mediums, including TV, theatre, events, commercials, and film. His work is characterized by an eclectic style that integrates a diverse range of dance techniques, contributing to the evolving landscape of choreography and movement.

Allen’s early career involved technical roles such as technical research and development for the TV series “South Park” from 1998 to 2002, where he contributed to 49 episodes, and as an additional technical director for “South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut” in 1999. His transition into visual development and animation began with roles like 3D visual development artist for “Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs” (2009) and “The Smurfs” (2011), followed by similar contributions to “Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2” (2013). These projects established his expertise in creating visual elements for animated features.

He has since held significant character design and visual development positions on high-profile animated films. Notably, he was a character designer for “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse” (2018) and “Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse” (2023), as well as for “Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation” (2018) and “Hotel Transylvania 4: Transformania” (2022). Allen also contributed to “Vivo” (2021) and “Monster Pets: A Hotel Transylvania Short” (2021) as a character designer. Other recent projects include additional visual development artist for “Agent Elvis” (2023), “Ultraman: Rising” (2024), and “Fixed” (2025), along with character designer for “KPop Demon Hunters” (2025). In 2017, he founded the London-based KVN Dance Company, further establishing his creative vision and fulfilling a long-standing goal.
