Kevin Gerard Quinn was born on May 21, 1997, in Chicago, and he grew up in Wilmette, Illinois. His parents are Brian Quinn, an advertising executive, and Tamara Quinn, founder of Pulling Down the Moon. Quinn, who has a twin sister, was involved in Musical Theater productions at the Children’s Theater of Winnetka during his formative years.

Quinn began his professional acting career with appearances in episodes of “Shameless” and “Chicago P.D.” In 2013, he auditioned for season 12 of “American Idol” and advanced to the top 60 male contestants in the country. His theatrical work includes playing Jonny in Steppenwolf Theater’s production of “Lord of the Flies” and the role of “Boy” in the Chicago Shakespeare Theater’s adaptation of “Henry V.”

In 2015, Quinn gained recognition through his casting as Xander in the Disney Channel spinoff series “Bunk’d,” a role he maintained for seasons 1 and 2. He further collaborated with Disney in 2016, appearing in the Disney Channel Original Movie “Adventures in Babysitting.” His career progression continued with roles in films such as “Canal Street” (2018), “A Christmas Love Story” (2019) on Hallmark Channel, and a minor role in Adam Sandler’s 2020 comedy “Hubie Halloween.” A significant milestone occurred in 2021 when he starred in the teen Christian musical drama “A Week Away,” which premiered on Netflix.
