Kieran Smith

Kieran Smith first rose to international prominence earning a silver medal at the 2017 FINA World Junior Championships in the 200-meter individual medley. This early success built upon being named the Connecticut High School Coaches Association’s ‘Swimmer of the Year’ in both 2016 and 2017. During his collegiate career at the University of Florida, where he pursued a major in physiology and kinesiology, Smith competed for the Florida Gators. Concluding 2020, Smith secured two gold medals in the 200-meter freestyle and 400-meter freestyle at the U.S.

His consistent performance underscores his status as a decorated swimmer and record-holder in multiple swimming disciplines. Beyond his competitive achievements, Smith’s dedication to athletics is evident in his academic pursuits and long-term aspirations. He earned numerous All-American honors during his collegiate career and maintains a keen interest in remaining involved in elite athletics, exploring roles as a trainer or massage therapist.
