Best known as the star of the Disney Channel film series Halloweentown, Kimberly J. Brown is a talented actress, author, and fashion designer. She has acted in a variety of films and television series including Rose Red, My Sister’s Keeper, Be Cool, and Bringing Down The House.
Brown appeared as Marah Lewis in the classic CBS soap opera Guiding Light from 1993-1998. She was nominated for an Emmy and soon went onto appear in films such as A Bug’s Life, Tumbleweed, and My Sister’s Keeper. Her best-known role came in 1998 when she starred as Marnie Piper in Halloweentown, a TV movie airing on Disney Channel. Acting alongside the legendary Debbie Reynolds, she went on to appear in sequels Halloweentown II: Kalabar’s Revenge and Halloweentown High. Her success in Halloweentown led to an appearance in Stephen King’s Rose Red series in 2002. She has also acted in episodes of Two of a Kind, Law & Order: SVU, and Low Winter Sun.
