Kimmy Repond

Kimmy Repond made history in 2023 by earning a bronze medal at the European Championships, becoming the first Swiss skater to achieve a medal at the event since 2011. Her competitive journey began with significant junior-level success, culminating in two Swiss junior national championships in 2020 and 2022. Repond made her international junior debut in 2021, and by 2022, she was recognized as the highest-finishing European junior woman after securing seventh place at the World Junior Championships, a feat she repeated in 2023. Repond swiftly transitioned to the senior international stage in 2022 with her debut at the ISU Challenger Series.

She immediately demonstrated her competitive prowess, securing a silver medal at the 2022 CS Budapest Trophy, followed by a bronze medal at the 2022 CS Ice Challenge, even while navigating a foot injury. Her consistent performance at the national level earned her the Swiss national senior title in 2024, which she successfully defended in 2025. Consistently representing Switzerland at the highest level, Repond has been a prominent figure at the World Championships, achieving an impressive fifth-place finish in 2024 and a twelfth-place ranking in 2025. Her exceptional breakthrough year in 2023, crowned by the European Championships bronze, led to her nomination for the prestigious ISU Skating Award in the ‘Best Newcomer’ category in 2024, signaling her rapid ascent in the sport.
