Kimrie Lewis is an American actress, writer, and director, recognized for her roles in television comedies and dramas, and her creative contributions behind the camera. After gaining significant recognition for her recurring role as reporter Ashley Davidson on the ABC drama series ‘Scandal’ from 2013 to 2018, Kimrie Lewis further demonstrated her versatility with a role as Meg in the 2013 film ‘Peeples.’ Lewis honed her craft by earning a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre from the New York University Tisch School of the Arts, which provided a robust foundation for her multifaceted career in acting, writing, and directing across various media platforms. Lewis quickly transitioned into a starring role as Poppy Banks in the ABC comedy ‘Single Parents,’ appearing in 45 episodes between 2018 and 2020.
