Jessica Lowndes was born in Vancouver, British Columbia, on November 8, 1988. She began her acting career early, securing roles in television and film before her breakout role as Adrianna Tate-Duncan on The CW series “90210.” Originally cast for a three-episode arc, her character became a series regular for five seasons. Lowndes also expanded her career into production, executive producing eight projects, two of which she wrote the scripts and music for, in addition to starring in them.
Beyond her acting work, Lowndes is also a musician. She has self-released over 30 original songs. Her single, “Silicone in Stereo,” reached number 11 on the Billboard charts in both the U.S. and Canada. She has composed original songs for various projects and has seen success on the iTunes charts, with her song “Paradise” from “Over the Moon in Love” hitting number 1 on the iTunes Singer/Songwriter chart, and “11:11” from “Harmony From The Heart” reaching number 3. Her duet “Alive” with Jeremy Jordan also cracked the top 15 on iTunes.
Lowndes’ filmography includes roles in “A Deadly Adoption” (2015) alongside Will Ferrell and Kristen Wiig, and the action film “The Prince” (2014) with Bruce Willis and John Cusack. She has starred in over 15 projects for Lifetime, Hallmark, GAF, and Tubi. Her work in horror films such as “Autopsy” (2008), “The Haunting of Molly Hartley” (2008), “Altitude” (2010), “The Devil’s Carnival” (2012), and “Abattoir” (2016) has earned her recognition as a scream queen.
