Kirk Cameron is an American actor, author, and producer, widely recognized for his roles in television and faith-based films. After gaining widespread recognition with his breakthrough role as Mike Seaver in the ABC sitcom Growing Pains in 1985, Kirk Cameron quickly became a prominent teen idol throughout the late 1980s.
