Krysten Anderson is the daughter of a former American professional monster truck driver, Dannis Anderson, who was the creator, team owner, and former driver of “Grave Digger” on the USHRA Monster Jam circuit. Anderson now rises in Kill Devil Hills, North Carolina, where he currently resides, whilst his daughter takes over the driving of Grave Digger to much acclaim. Anderson did intend to be a graphic designer for Monster Jam, and was going to go to college to pursue studio art and design when the opportunity for a driver opened up on Monster Jam’s team. Anderson took it, and has never looked back.
Anderson now is known for being a formidable driver, carrying on the legacy of her father, and is known for being a down-to-earth racer that can sneak up on the track. Anderson was Grave Digger’s first ever female driver, a huge step in the movement towards female rights, and Anderson is always making sure to advocate for women’s rights and achieving your dreams. The driver also currently holds the Guiness Book of World Records achievement of High Jump in a monster truck, an incredible achievement which has earned her over 80 thousand followers on Instagram. Anderson is also a MJ Triple Threat Series Central St. Jude Ambassador, working to inspire people to donate to the cause of St Jude, helping children survive Cancer. Anderson is vocal on social media about her love for her family and brothers, and is often discussing her family’s love of driving on podcasts and radio.
