Zinedine Zidane, after leading the French national team to their first FIFA World Cup victory in 1998, scoring two goals in the final, went on to achieve unparalleled success as both a player and a manager. His professional playing career began with AS Cannes in 1989 before a pivotal move to Girondins Bordeaux in 1992. With Bordeaux, he won the UEFA Intertoto Cup in 1995 and reached the UEFA Cup final in 1996, garnering international recognition. His exceptional performances led to a transfer to Juventus in 1996, where he secured two Serie A titles in 1997 and 1998, along with the Intercontinental Cup in 1996.

Under his leadership, Real Madrid also secured two FIFA Club World Cups, two UEFA Super Cups, and a La Liga title in 2017. His coaching prowess was formally recognized when he received The Best FIFA Men’s Coach award in 2017, highlighting his strategic insight and ability to achieve elite-level success. After a brief departure, Zidane returned to manage Real Madrid in 2019, where he continued his winning ways by securing another La Liga title in 2020 and the Supercopa de España. He concluded his second managerial stint with the club in 2021.
