Television personality, actress and manager Dina Lohan rose to fame on the reality show Living Lohan in 2008. The manager and mother of Hollywood actress Lindsay Lohan, she was also one of the executive producers of the series which followed Lindsay’s younger sister Ali’s attempts to find success in Hollywood. Lohan has also appeared on several other television shows including Celebrity Big Brother, The View, E! True Hollywood Story and Driven. She also appeared alongside 12-year-old Lindsay in the classic comedy film Parent Trap in 1998 and featured on the reality show Family Therapy with Dr. Jenn alongside her ex-husband Michael. She was previously named on a list of the Top 20 Long Island Mothers of Celebrities.
Born and raised in New York City, Lohan – who sometimes refers to herself as The White Oprah – was a professional dancer, but ended her career to concentrate on being a mother to her four children. She was also a Wall Street analyst before becoming daughter Lindsay’s full time manager, and later younger daughter Ali’s manager. She launched the E! reality television show Living Lohan in 2008, and although Living Lohan mostly concentrated on Ali’s Hollywood dream other members of the family also starred in the show.
Since appearing on the show Lohan has continued to enjoy a career as a television personality, and in 2020 launched her new podcast, Listen to Me, the OG Mama D.
