His goal was to acquire 500 followers, which was approximately the student population of his charter school at the time. By the conclusion of the first year, Price had accumulated over a million followers, significantly exceeding his initial expectations. His TikTok account now boasts approximately two million followers and 74 million likes.
Price’s content frequently features skits and comedic videos produced within his classroom setting. One notable early viral skit involved his use of a school mascot, a golden retriever puppy named Buck, to motivate students for the Vocabulary Bowl. This particular video garnered six and a half million views. While the video was a staged comedic piece, it led to a period of administrative leave for Price due to public reactions. However, school administration was supportive, and he was reinstated.
