Lauren Duski

Lauren Duski grew up in Gaylord, Michigan, where she began singing at a young age. Her early experiences included performing in karaoke contests and school plays. Despite initially pursuing a path in pre-dentistry at the University of Michigan, an opportunity to sing with a friend’s band during her junior year reignited her passion for music. This experience led her to abandon her dental aspirations and move to Nashville after graduation to focus on songwriting and a career in music.

Duski gained national recognition as a contestant on Season 12 of NBC’s The Voice in 2017. She successfully navigated the competition, with coaches Adam Levine, Gwen Stefani, and Blake Shelton turning their chairs for her during the Blind Auditions. She ultimately joined Team Blake and progressed through the various rounds, including the Battles and Knockouts. Duski consistently delivered strong performances, showcasing her country music style and vocal abilities. She reached the finale as one of the top two contestants, securing the runner-up position in the competition.

Following her time on The Voice, Duski continued to build her music career. Her original song, “Deja Vu,” reached number one on the iTunes chart after her performance on the show. In October 2020, Lauren Duski signed a global publishing deal with Warner Chappell Music, further establishing her presence in the music industry. She has released an EP, “Midwestern Girl,” which debuted at number two on the iTunes country chart. Duski actively performs and continues to write new music.
