Her early career progression saw her take on diverse roles, including Claire in The CW’s sitcom ‘Aliens in America’ from 2007 to 2008. In 2009, Shaw landed the lead role of Kat Stratford in ABC Family’s ’10 Things I Hate About You,’ a television adaptation of the popular 1999 romantic comedy, showcasing her versatility.
