Loni Harwood

Loni Harwood, born around 1989, grew up in Staten Island and later earned a finance degree from the University at Albany, State University of New York in 2012. After completing her education, she relocated to Florida and began her career in professional poker. Her initial interest in poker was influenced by observing her father, Joel Harwood, play online. Harwood quickly transitioned into competitive play, making a name for herself in World Series of Poker Circuit events.

Harwood’s professional career began to accelerate in 2012. She secured two World Series of Poker Circuit rings that year, winning the $300 + $45 buy-in No-Limit Hold’em Event 2 at the Palm Beach Kennel Club for $30,994, and the $355 buy-in No-Limit Hold’em Event 4 at Harrah’s New Orleans for $23,090. Her first WSOP Circuit event marked her initial win. In 2013, she achieved a significant milestone by winning a World Series of Poker bracelet at the $1,500 No Limit Hold’em Event 60, earning $609,017. This victory made her the second woman to reach three final tables in a single World Series and the first to win a bracelet in the same year, placing her among the top earners in women’s poker history.

Her success continued with a second World Series of Poker bracelet win on July 31, 2015, at the WSOP U.S. National Championship, where she took home $341,599. Harwood has consistently demonstrated her skill in the poker world, accumulating over $3.4 million in total earnings throughout her career. Her consistent performance and multiple victories have established her as a notable figure in professional poker.
