Lucky Blue Smith was born on June 4, 1998, in Spanish Fork, Utah. He was raised by his parents, Sheridan and Dallon Smith, alongside his three older sisters, Starlie Cheyenne, Daisy Clementine, and Pyper America. His mother was a former model, and his father was a hobbyist musician. The family’s early life saw them deliberately given unique names. Smith’s career began early; at the age of 12, he was signed with Next Management, leading his family to relocate to Los Angeles, where he and his younger siblings were homeschooled. Shortly after their move, Smith and his sisters gained initial attention when they were photographed by Hedi Slimane for Vogue Homme Japan.
Smith’s modeling career advanced considerably after he adopted a platinum blond hair color, a look suggested by his agent that became his signature. By 2015, his influence was widely recognized; Teen Vogue named him “Model of the Moment,” and Models.com included him in their “Top 50 Male Models.” He also stood out for having the second-highest social media following among all male models in the industry, underscoring the growing importance of social media in fashion for brand promotion. His work quickly encompassed numerous magazine covers and fashion campaigns for prominent brands. In addition to modeling, Smith is a musician.
